Delete your Mailaholic account

Ask us to delete your account and the data that goes with it. You don’t need to sign in or have the app installed.

How to request deletion

  1. Fill in the form

    Use the form below with the email address you use to sign in to Mailaholic.

  2. Confirm by email

    We email that address to confirm the request really comes from you.

  3. We delete it

    Your account and data are deleted within 30 days of your confirmation, and we email you when it’s done.

Prefer email? Write to support@workaholicdevelopers.com from your account’s email address with the subject “Delete my Mailaholic account”.

Signed in already? You can delete your account yourself, straight away: in the app under Settings → Profile & password → Delete account, or on the web under Profile → Delete account.

Deletion is permanent

Once your account is deleted, your mailboxes and emails cannot be recovered. Before you ask:

  • Export your mail. Any mail app that supports IMAP (such as Thunderbird, Apple Mail or Outlook) can download a full copy of each mailbox.
  • Moving providers? Update your domain’s MX records to point at your new provider, so new mail keeps arriving.

What happens to your data

Server security logs Up to 90 days Kept for abuse prevention, then deleted.

Is your address from an organisation, such as your employer or school? That mailbox belongs to the organisation’s account, so ask its administrator first — we’re happy to help either way.
